A customer sent me an email (after buying some taps/dies) through our website stating that he had ordered the wrong sizes. (he had orginally ordered all BSC-26 TPI tools). He then went on to suggest that what he REALLY needed were British Std Fine sizes and not BSC at all....in fact one of the sizes he "needed" was a "BSF 3/8-26"

I informed him that no such size existed and that he either needed BSC 3/8"-26 or BSF 3/8"-20 but there was no such thread as BSF 3/8"-26......

He sent me a package for me to check out. You can see on the pictures above that someone is selling these chrome plated acorn nuts and labelling them "3/8-26 BSF"

WRONG!

and whats worse......the sticker also says "British Whitworth" haha.....now the poor guy has THREE useless bits of info jammed on to one package. The sticker suggests that the nuts could be:
BSF, which is 3/8"-20
3/8"-26, which is BSCycle
British Whitworth, which is 3/8"-16.....

Anyway, after checking the nuts, the actual thread was a BSCycle 3/8"-26.....
