Well... I don't know about news specifically for the fastener industry, but this site is cool, a U.S. fastener salesman posts his blog.

I know there are a few more, I just can't remember them right now. Hope this helps a little.

Judging by the original posters location - China - I would suspect that they are looking for company info and lists of places to send emails to, to try to sell their products.

I get about 10 a week from random Chinese companies. Glad to say, I still buy all my hardware from the UK.

I just ran into another fastener site, http://www.dailyfasteners.com... I don't know what it is, does anyone have a clue who would put up this site? or why?... It's weird, it was put up this July, and has no contact information... Just strange.

Yeah, that daily fasteners page is, I believe, a "s****er site" that just grabs info off of search engine results or its own spider... I wonder what purpose these websites serve?
