Hello.........to all........just bought this 1963 Triumph 6T motorcycle (project that is) just wondering what type of threads on nuts and bolts does this motorcycle use?
Many Thanks!!
Welcome!
There is probably a conglomerate of threads on any 63 model year motorcycle.
You could have BSCycle threads in areas, British Whitworth in areas and BA (British Association) too!
The best thing to do besides looking up actual part numbers, is to understand that there are probably 3 or 4 different thread types on most models.
Take each area of the bike seperately and determine what thread the parts are by themselves. Its entirely possible that the hardware that holds the frame together is entirely different from that of the engine componants.
If you need any help ID'ing parts with or without part numbers, give me a call (315)946-9400, email sales@britishfasteners.com or post here!
