These dies are designed for cleaning up EXISTING threads, to remove plating, corrosion, burred threads etc. Do NOT use these dies to cut NEW THREADS on a new spoke. SERIOUS WEAKENING OF THE SPOKE COULD RESULT. All spoke threads should be produced using a SPOKE ROLLING MACHINE.
